| `surprise/disaster
Every month a few names will be drawn out of a hat for both human and horse characters. It is completely random, you may get drawn for something lovely, or something awful that happens. Every now and then, there will be surprise or disaster that the whole site will be included in.

| `human files
This is where the human characters will record how many horses they have, what items they have and all that stuff. There is a form inside for convenience. One thread per member. YOU MUST HAVE A FILE FOR YOUR CHARACTERS.

| `cell phones
One of the easiest ways to stay in touch with your friends. Calling, texting, whatever. Please if you wish to have a cell phone, only use one thread, if you want to call a certain character, post in their cell phone thread.

| `MSN
Instant messaging is a good way to keep in touch with friends, it is certainly cheaper than cell phones as well. No long distance fees or anything, you can talk to people no matter how far away they may be. Please claim your screen name, only use one thread, and reply to other peoples' thread if you wish to chat with them.

| FEMALE DORMS;; |
| `stirrup building (3 sub-boards)
All freshman will have dorms within this building. The stirrup building has view of the forest and trails leading into it. It gives the students in this building a fantastic view of the sunset.

| `cantle building (3 sub-boards)
All sophomores have dorms here. The Cantle building has view of all of the riding arenas. It's lovely too see who your competition might be in the show ring.

| `pommel building (3 sub-boards)
All juniours have dorms here. The Pommel building has view of all of the fields, so the students can watch their horses graze. It's nice and peaceful.

All seniors have dorms here. The Gullet building has view of the barns, perfect view in fact, it's just lovely.

| MALE DORMS;; |
| `coronet building (3 sub-boards)
The coronet building has a view of the cross country course. Grades seven and eight males live here.

| `fetlock building (3 sub-boards)
The fetlock building is for grades nine and ten. It has a view of all the female dorms, which is probably not a good thing.

| `pastern building (3 sub-boards)
The Pastern building is for grades eleven and twelve. It has a view of the beautiful drive way to Gaitway Academy.

| CAMPUS;; |
| `school
The school is painted a bland beige. The teachers drone on in boredom, lots of the students skip on a daily basis. But be careful, you could get punished harshly, meaning no horses!

| `library
The library is painted a pale yellow with a beige carpet. It has large leather sofas and arm chairs to match the decor. Several stained oak book shelves are set up in rows.

| `study hall
A boring white room with grey tables and couches set in the middle of campus, right beside the library. The study hall is normally quiet and empty, although just before term papers a few more kids come to get tutoring from those who study all year long.

| STABLE YARD;; |
| `main barn (3 sub-boards)
The main barn is painted like the other two stables, white with a forest green trim and cedar window panels. Each stall has an in/out paddock so that the horses are free to go outside whenever they please. The stable is nearly always cleanly swept, but still keeps that lovely 'horsey' smell. All mares and geldings that belong or are leased by the students are stabled here. Lesson horses/ponies and stallions have their own stables.

| `stallion barn (2 sub-boards)
This barn is identical to the main barn. It just has fewer stalls, and the stalls are 13 x 12 instead of 12 x 12. They each have their own in and out, they are just spaced out more so that the stallions do not fight. And this barn does not include a stable lounge.

| `lesson horse barn (2 sub-boards)
This barn is identical to the other two. But like the stallion barn, this barn has no lounge in it as there is no need for it.

| `round pen
A Large 30ft x 30ft round pen used for lunging horses or starting young horses or just riding those difficult ones. It has large oak planks that are about seven feet high, so no need to worry about an escape.

| `the arenas (4 sub-boards)
Gaitway Academy supplies the students with quite a few different arenas, inside and outside. Each arena is large with non dusty dirt footing and they get watered and harrowed daily, so no need to worry about horrible footing. It doesn't exist at the academy.

| `trails
Gaitway Academy has about ten acres of trails for everyone to use. Some go through foresty areas, others up into the mountains and through the nearby beaches and lakes. It is really lovely scenery and fun to ride.

Gaitway Academy has many large pastures to choose from. Mares and geldings have about four or five six and three acre pastures, which go back into forest. Stallions have individual half acre pastures.

| `local shows
All shows in the area are hosted here.

| TOWN;; |
| `silverwood beach
Gaitway Academy is a mere five minute walk from the beach. It is a refreshing sight to see the white sand beaches and bright blue waves. The water is cool, but refreshing, great for swims in the summer. Also seeing as the sand is not rocky, it is wonderful to ride horses along.

| `party house (1 sub-board)
A lot of the students buy liquor and come here to party. It is a run down two storey house, but it totally works. And they don't get caught because its well hidden.

| `silverwood theatres
Silverwood Theatres is a smaller movie theatre without about five different small theatres to watch movies in, but the interior design is nice and fancy and modern.

| `mall
The town's only mall. It's small, but it does have all of the 'in' stores.

| `stampede tack
Stampede Tack shop has everything any horse crazy human could possibly imagine. It is a haven for those who love shopping for their horse. Insane amounts of tack hang on hooks and racks, boots, bits, bridles, halters, everything from both styles of tack to apparel.

| `pizza hut
The only pizza place in town, also cheap, so it works for everyone.

| `starbucks
America's popular coffee shop. Starbucks serves wonderful pastries, awesome teas and fantastic coffees. It has a unique feel to it on the inside with jazz music and dark wood chairs.

Mario's is a popular food diner. It has a fancier feel to it. Mario's generally serves pastas but does offer other foods.

This is where you can list stallions for stud, horses for sale, tack for sale, horses for lease, basically anything horsey. However, if you join as a horse you must post in the auctions, not here.

This is where all of the horse sales go on. It isn't like a lot of auctions, where the kill buyer is the one person buying all of the horses. There are many decent horses here, a few that are messed up, but not many.
